Mission

The mission of the Ministries of Encouragement is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, "I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." Our mission is to share that God has a purpose for all of His creation. The ministry is to be an encouragement center for spiritual growth where God's love is central and to teach and encourage people to live and share God's love. We are to be givers of Hope by encouraging people through a Biblical understanding of God's love which is found in Christ, the hope of glory.

Belief Statement

The Ministries of Encouragement believes in the sovereignty of God, the atoning grace of Jesus Christ, the Bible as the true revelation to man, and that man was made to glorify the Lord.

Philosophy

Focus.. encourage practical application of Christian and Biblical principles in everyday life; to enhance and encourage people in living joyful and productive lives through relationships with the Lord and each other.

Flexible.. being open to innovative and creative approaches to ministering love , faith and hope into people's lives

Goal.. to help people become dependent on the Lord, independent of worldly pulls and interdependent on other believers

Leadership.. lead by recognizing and identifying the needs of the people then pray for power and wisdom to handle the needs and to be available to minister to that need.

Cooperative.. be open to other Christian groups and work together in endeavors to enrich the Lord's kingdom

 Barnabas

**Barnabas was a real person of the first century A. D. Barnabas means "son of encouragement". he lifted people up gave them courage and hope by his generosity and kindness. Barnabas practiced his Christianity that is why we call it the The Barnabas House. The house where encouragement takes place. See Acts 4:36,37

The Ministries of Encouragement is a non-profit religious organization incorporated in the state of California with a federal tax 501 ( c)(3) exemption.
