Looking for an exciting spiritual adventure trekking in California Sierra Mountains with your youth or college-young adult group?  Look no further Barnabas Treks are here! Our approach seeks to get back to the basics by integrating a wilderness experience with biblical principles.  A group of 8 to 12 individuals will learn to live and build relationships through a life changing wilderness experience. 

 A. Vision: Creating & Building a Relationship with God, others and self. (Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

B. Mission Statement:  Barnabas Treks helps participants experience God in the setting of nature with a focus on building closer relationships with God, others and self.  It is a life changing experience for spiritual growth where God's love is a central foundation.                            (Isaiah 2:3  …”Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.  He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”(NIV)

C. Values:

Experiencing God in Nature: Learning to appreciate God the creator through his creation.  Psalm 148 (NIV).

Life Changing: Being open to transformation through a given experience.  II Corinthians 3:18 (NIV).

Developing Relationships: Learning to love God, others and self.      I John 4:7-12; Mark 12:30-31 (NIV).
